Mista, The Black Panther

Mysticql Visionary Encounters 2 - One summer's day, a week before the Shamanic course I had enrolled in where we would be discovering our totem animals, I was out driving when I felt this massive paw hit my thigh and I mean MASSIVE.  I instantly knew what it was and burst into tears. I had expected my main totem animal to be either a Horse, Wolf or Eagle because of my love for them. So it was a total surprise to discover it was a Panther! And yet as said my instant response was tears of Joy. In retrospect I am not surprised as I am a kitty magnet, have such a strong connection with cats, and have rescued so many. They truly make my heart sing. Ok so fast forward to the first session in the course. 

I find myself in a jungle sitting against an enormous tree.  I tune into the sights, sounds, fragrances etc. of this beautiful place and feel such an incredible sense of deep inner peace. As I relax I hear a rustle in the bushes.  I know I am completely safe and so stay quiet and watch.  A few moments later my beautiful friend appears.  He is BIG, far bigger than your typical Panther, maybe 5x bigger!!!!! Again though no fear as I KNOW him even though this is our first conscious meeting. As he gently makes his way over to me, I can feel his love for me. His huge emerald green eyes stay in contact with mine penetrating deep into my soul. He reaches me and proceeds to sit in front of me. I put my hand on his soft fur and stroke his head and he purrs!!!!!! Tears of such deep Love flow as my heart opens to a whole new level. 

As I look into his beautiful eyes I know he knows everything about me. Telepathically he shares his name is Mista, and that he has been with me all my life and waiting for this moment to reveal himself. He says that  I have 

never been alone, that he has always been at my side, at which point more 

tears flow!!! He then says  that we are going on some adventures together that will help me on my journey. 

So I stand up and begin to follow him as he silently walks along a path that has suddenly appeared. He is so graceful, elegant and I feel such joy and gratitude at this union. The love is beyond words. 

He stops at a small body of water where the sun is shining gently upon it, turns to me and says ‘pay attention’.  And I watch as he crouches down and gently taps the water surface with his paw, sending out ripples. And then begins to drink. He then stands up, and says‘ When I tap the water I am imprinting my energy or unique energetic signature into it. You may ask so?  Well water in life has many meanings and is one of the main elements so it is very powerful.  It is a carrier of information, and also holds memory. So by tapping it I clear it and imprint my own energy into it. Water is cleansing, very healing so plays an essential role. Our bodies are 70-80% water and so by being aware of this, you can infuse your own energy into it, and can also see  how your thoughts, words, emotions have a great impact on your life. ‘

With that he then walks away and I follow taking in what he shared. He stops at the bottom of an enormous tree that towers up into the sky and says ‘ climb on my back and wrap your arms around my neck.’. So I do and as I snuggle into his soft fur, holding on, he then takes a gentle leap and begins to climb the tree effortlessly.  Up and up he goes for what seems an eternity until he reaches the top. When he stops and I climb off I find myself on a wide branch on which we both sit. The view is spectacular. And I feel so at ease and in awe at what I can see. 

“What do you notice, feel as you look around?" he asks. As I do I become aware that I can see 360 degrees, all around me and that I feel free, alive, filled with great joy. There is no fear, only joy.  I notice the many scenes, colours, 

textures, shapes. How I am seeing things from a different perspective and 

everything looks much smaller from up here. 

He then asks me “ Think about how these apply to your life. By seeing things from a higher level, a different level of consciousness,  you are able to view them differently.  Things are smaller, further away so don't have the impact or effect, power they had.  There is space and this gives you an opportunity for clarity to appear. There is always a solution, you just have to step back and look at things from a different perspective. Everything exists in the Universe, the Field. By shifting your vibration, solutions and inspiration can then appear. What else do you notice?”

As I continue to look around I watch Eagles soaring through the air currents and notice how effortlessly they fly. They are quite mesmerizing to watch. Mista reading my thoughts says’ The message here for you is to let go of resistance, holding on and allow yourself to flow with life. To be willing to trust!!! Allow yourself to flow with the energies as they continue to increase in frequency as this will help your life to unfold with greater ease.  Humans tend to resist change and yet energy is always in motion, so nothing ever stays the same. You are opening up to more and more of who you truly are as these energies flow in. And so you are not the same from one moment to the next. And it's so important to allow yourself to flow with that.”  

 We then sit and enjoy the view as I contemplate what he has shared.  Wow what great wisdom he has.  After a while he says ‘ Ok it’s time to move on. Hop back on.’ So I do and again with such grace and ease he bounds down the tree leaping from branch to branch. I am just in awe!!!! I feel like I am on an amazing rollercoaster ride. At the bottom after I get off, he looks at me with his soft emerald eyes and says ‘Well done, let's continue.’ 

We meander along the path as I continue to contemplate everything this wise being has shared and the natural beauty and magic of nature, the many 

different forms, colours, shapes, fragrances, sounds. I feel so blessed.   We come to a huge sparkling Amethyst crystal that is shaped like a huge semi 

circle dome, like an outdoor theatre.  Mista tells me he will wait for me and to go and sit in it. So off I go and as I enter, this very gentle female voice says “Come and sit in the centre and just relax. Take a few deep breaths and only focus on what you feel in your body. My energy will cleanse, strengthen and realign your field amongst other things.” 

 So I follow her instructions, sitting quietly, breathing deeply and allowing myself to completely let go.  I feel so safe. After a few minutes she tells me I am complete and that over the next few days and weeks I may notice things like innate abilities that have been dormant activating as it is time. And that this is natural. She then wishes me a beautiful and magical life as I continue on my adventurous journey. And that it was a pleasure assisting me.  So I gently stand, thank her, and make my way to Mista again in awe of the magic happening. He looks at me with his gentle wise eyes and says “We have one more place to visit. “

As we walk side by side I am aware of feeling deep gratitude and reverence for all I am experiencing. I feel an inner peace that I have not felt in a long, long time. 

We come to a brook, a stream and as I step in, I can feel the cool water flowing over my feet and notice the sound as it flows across the pebbles. And I have an AHA moment. I remember the saying ‘babbling brook’ and I get it! The water is talking!!!!   Mista reading my thoughts again says ‘ Just listen. You don't need to understand consciously as the information will be absorbed. Remember what I shared about water earlier.  Now you are beginning to really see just how magical nature is and how it is always communicating containing all the wisdom to teach humans how to live naturally once again.``

We reach the other side and thank the water, then continue along the path 

until we come to the entrance of a cave. Mista turns to me and says ‘In you go,  I will wait for you here.’  I look at the cave which is dark and foreboding and look back at him in disbelief and say “I am not going in there!!!!!  He reminds 

me first of all that I am safe here and then that I am facing my fears and what does this black cave represent.  ”Fear of unknown!!”   He then asks “What's the worst that could happen? “  ”Well I could die!!!!” And he then says ‘ What happens when you ‘die’?’  ”I go back to spirit world!!!” 

 He says ‘ You never die, you just leave the body and return to being formless, pure consciousness. You are eternal, here to experience this dream or movie in this human form.  Fear actually stands for False Evidence Appearing Real, it is illusory unless you focus on it and then eventually you will make it real and magnetize that fear to you. You have created your fears due to your experiences and what you have been taught. And it is time to face them and realize they are not real, thereby liberating yourself. I am here to help you to do so as all of nature is. You can do this”  So then I say ‘ok I will go in.’  

Cautiously I enter and as I begin to walk I realize that the light that I AM, that radiates within and from me, is lighting up the cave!!!!! Wow!  THEN a beam of light activates from my heart like a flashlight and leads the way!!!!!!!!! No longer is the cave dark!!! I am blown away!!!!  This is magic at its best!! 

Eventually I reach a door which is locked and has no handle and I wonder how I am to enter as I know I am to do so because it has my name on it. I notice an imprint in it and get that it is my unique energetic signature that will unlock it. So tune into myself and sure enough a beam comes out of my heart into it and the door unlocks.

 I push it open and enter into a room and as I look around I notice there are many symbols and pictures on the walls, sacred geometry, CODES!!!! Ancient knowledge!!!!!! Ok IN TOTAL AWE now!!! Suddenly a laser beam of light from my forehead shines onto the walls and starts to scan all the information. 

 I feel buzzing in my 3rd eye, and my eyes flicker like morse code. I can feel 

stuff going on along my central axis and then in my throat chakra. The right 

side of my physical body jerks a few times. I know I am downloading as well as a shift happening. Then it stops and the laser beam switches off and I know I am complete!!!!!!!!  

I suddenly feel a presence and turn to find a MASSIVE spider looking at me. So big that she takes up the whole doorway.  I feel no fear as I can feel her love for me. She  begins to talk in a very gentle voice -  “Spiders are the keepers of the ancient primordial language and it is guarded fiercely.  Only those pure of heart can gain access to this sacred knowledge that are upon these walls.” (Certainly would not  want to mess with her!!!!!!) She knew I was pure because of my heart light and that I had passed the initiation and so been granted access to this primordial alphabet, information.

 She then says “Some of these symbols can act like keys, activating dormant aspects within you that will then allow you to experience life in an entirely new way, true to who you really are. You weave a web around your words. Do you see how people respond to them, whether written, spoken or sung?  You are a bridge between the worlds, a transmitter. This ancient knowledge that you now have access to is encoded. The information will become clear to you over the next little while. This you will then be able to share.“ I then say ‘Thank you’ to which she replies, “No I thank you, go now in peace"  And with that she instantly disappears but I can still feel her loving presence. 

In awe I walk back out the door and it automatically closes and locks behind me. My heart light switches on again and lights up the pathway and I begin to walk back, once again totally blown away.  I feel like a little kid on this magical adventure and am filled with such joy. I eventually reach the end of the cave and Mista, seeing the big grin on my face says ‘ Told you so, see what happens when you are willing to trust and face your fears. Well done. “ I give him a big hug and thank him.  We then begin to walk silently side by side as I once again contemplate all that I have experienced in this enchanting place. 

 We reach the tree where we met and he says “It is time for me to leave now.  I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time with you. You have much to sit with. Remember I am with you always. Anytime you feel anxious or confused or sad, tune into me. And you will feel me with you. You are deeply loved and watched over. You are never alone, it is impossible for you are a unique expression of Source, of All that is.  Keep spending time in nature and your relationship with the kingdoms will continue to deepen and your heart will open up more and more to the love that you are, to the Oneness of All of Creation. So much awaits you now. Life is beautiful, life is magical. Be in joy.‘  I thank him, hug him and watch as he bounds off into the bushes. I sit for a while in awe, deep gratitude, love flowing freely. feeling so blessed. 

REFLECTION

First of all if you think of a Panther immediately you are in awe.  These  powerful creatures are graceful, elegant, and are solitary beings, which is why you don't often see one. They are mystical and represent psychic abilities and magic. As a guardian or totem animal they represent the ability to guide individuals through challenges and provide strength during difficult times.  Their stealth and solitary nature represents inner strength and the ability to navigate life's obstacles with grace and resilience. They stand for power, valor, courage,beauty, and grace. Because they are solitary beings they represent the courage to walk one's own path. So pretty apt for this transformational journey we are all on. 

I LOVED this magical  adventure in so many different ways. It  shows how nature provides for us, the knowledge, wisdom that it holds and that everything is there all the time waiting for us to wake up and pay attention. Why it is so important to spend time in nature in silence, being fully present, observing and being open to receiving what wishes to be shared. 

It shows too as Mista said, that we are never alone, that many walk alongside us, supporting us, have been with us all the time, even if we cannot see or feel them. Again as we wake up and tune in, they lovingly reveal themselves and we can feel their presence. 

The water shows how we have the power to transform anything.  We are 80% water so how we think and feel affects our health, our life. (Think of Masaru Emoto’s beautiful work with water.)  And how the sound of water is communicating with us. Think of the bodies of water all over the world with this awareness!  I now can actually feel the sound reverberate throughout my field and it fills me with such joy. This shows how we truly are all connected, all one. We just forgot for a while. 

The journey up the tree and the shift in perspective is such a beautiful metaphor for seeing the bigger picture. From above, the things that once seemed overwhelming or insurmountable become smaller and more manageable. We are reminded that as we open up to more of who we truly are, when we rise above our challenges, gain mastery,  we gain clarity and insight.. 

Watching the eagles soar through the currents adds another layer—showing that when we align with the flow of life, everything becomes easier and more graceful. Now I also see the Eagle as the Creator showing us the way that if we follow, we get to experience life with ease and grace instead of struggle. 

The experience with the Amethyst crystal is another beautiful message that nature provides everything we need to help us.  I have always loved crystals and their unique healing gifts. Amethyst is associated with the Third Eye and Crown chakras and can promote calmness, intuition and inner peace. As well as clarity and wisdom and protection. 

The cave is such a powerful symbol of facing the unknown and stepping into courage. The way our heart center lights up and guides us through the darkness is a reminder that the answers we seek are already within us, we have everything within us—we just have to trust ourselves enough to take the first step. The door without a handle, opened by our heart beam, is another beautiful metaphor for how love and courage can unlock opportunities and wisdom that fear would keep hidden.

The room where the hieroglyphs  are, represents the womb, the void where everything lies and is revealed in divine timing. The spiders are such rich symbols of ancient knowledge and the interconnectedness of all things. They are often seen as weavers of destiny and magic, reinforcing  the idea that we are all creators of our own lives. Plus my own visionary experiences with a being I called Cosmic Grandmother, finding out later that she is known in some Native American nations, as Spider Grandmother, is the Creator of all Life! 

The journey back to where I first met Mista  is a reminder that transformation often brings us full circle, but we return changed—wiser, stronger, and more connected to ourselves and all of Creation. 

This vision clearly demonstrated how as we open up more and more to higher levels of awareness, our perception changes and we view things differently. As that quote from Einstein says ‘You cannot solve a  problem from the same level of consciousness.” Also as we change within, the outer world will reflect that. The experience in the cave shows again how everything is already within us and activates in divine timing. The heart beam, 3rd eye laser both show our inner light shining forth. 

So this journey is encouraging us to TRUST ourselves, inner guidance and walk our own path, to take back our power and attune with nature as we are one with it.  And that everything is interconnected, we are never alone. And to know that all is revealed when and as we need it, that it is already within us, so nothing to seek, nothing to strive for, to just go within. As said this particular adventure still fills me with such love and joy, it's definitely one of my favourites.
